Names appearing within the (nemeless) Apollo 11 patch
Permalink

I believe that James Cooper designed every part of the Apollo 11 patch to record or convey a message.... 'available to those who can remove one of truth's protective layers'.

I have tried to show earlier in the thread that in my opinion the original artwork held by NASA does contain the names of the artist, the astronauts and those NASA staff closely connected with the operation.

(I have more on these names yet to be disclosed).

I also believe that there is far more hidden within the patch. What's on the edge of the crater?

In these 2 slides I show that within one of the largest craters there lies 'a door anomaly' on the inside wall ......an entrance to a bunker or underground facility maybe? There are no other examples of a door

in any of the other craters.

Either side of the door I believe there is a series of numbers. Could these numbers be co-ordinates? By tuning the image upside down I've managed to decipher 35 - 35 possibly 53 then 2 numbers I'm not sure off ??

I'm open to ideas. Please view the original version accessible at the link below. Please be aware the patch is enormous. Observations welcome!! Please note that I am not suggesting a conspiracy but I would like to

pose this question. Its all symbolism.... so why does the Eagle have the Olive Branch in its talon's and not its beak? How does the Eagle land and not let go of the branch?

This crater wall was designed like this for a reason. I wonder where this door might lead?

Please see below these slides for an explanation of source documents.

In slide 1 - I am showing what reports to be the original artwork of the Apollo 11 ID patch as worn I guess by Apollo personnel in 1969. It is from a website dedicated to the artists themselves. In this case James R Cooper. It is not an actual ID patch. You will see that to the left is the official NASA emblem, the address for the Johnson Space Centre and registration number for the artwork.

Slide number 1.jpg

Slide 2 shows an enlargement of the crater above. This is in the middle. The top one is from the hi-res version contained on the NASA website and the 3rd below is from a site selling mission patches. Notice the similarities. No other enhancement has been used. Remember I believe the name is hidden in the artwork like a puzzle. to help I have added some boxes in order to ease the observer into my way of looking at it.

And now my interpretation of what I am seeing on the original artwork patch. To me its like the handwriting of a child who is attempting to copy what has been written for them.

I have put the 2 names back to back.

At this point you may very well be doubting your own eyes ...........I know I did. You may of course doubt mine. That's fine...

Now for the final slide in this post I believe James Cooper signed his own name on the crater floor for posterity. Instead of using the original artwork I have used NASAs

very own Hi-res version as it is more pronounced. Only an example of his actual signature will be proof of this. Unfortunately I have not been able to track one down.

Your observations, analysis, comments and criticism are most welcome. The worst thing for me would be silence.

To the best of my ability I have tried to ascertain the source of the original Apollo 11 patch artwork used in the slide (enlargements only) at the start of this thread (Link 1). The genedorr site run by Eugene Genedorr is a remarkable website given over to celebrating a complete history of the illustrators and artists behind the wonderful patch designs.  I have also established that a relative claimed to be in possession of the original artwork by his stepfather James R Cooper as late as 2012 (Link 2). I will not reproduce pages from the genedorr.com site as this would be an infringement of copyright. I will however reproduce parts of the photo ID patch which is downloadable free of charge for the purpose of showing (that I believe) contains names of the artist and the personnel involved in the Apollo 11 mission. I would like for this to be considered research work and not the finished product. That is not my intention. It is my view only.

Link 1 to original artwork by the patch artists.     http://patches.genedorr.com/Apollo/Ap11.html

Then right click on the following patch:

You will be taken to another page. Right click and download the patch at the top.

Hi qmantoo as requested please find direct link below. The badge is quite large on the NASA website so I enlarged the front page for the patch only which is a lower res version.

Observations welcome

Please note that I believe various names are contained within the patch. These names are also written over each other. I'm doing my best to work on it and people will rightly disagree with me but I'm giving it my best shot.

This image has nothing like what you are showing us, although it is a good quality image but a sanitised copy.

Where did you get your image from?

What it looks like to me from your post above, is that someone has written squiggles/rubbish over the top to obscure it.

Not sure if this post should go here really so guys please feel free to move it to a more appropriate location.

I had always been given to understand ever since I was a little boy that the Apollo 11 patch contained no names. It was meant to be like that. Well as a genealogist I have spent 10's of 1000's of hours deciphering and extracting information from manuscripts in the public record offices here in the UK. Maybe some will say that I'm suffering from a severe case of pareidolia. Everyone has a right to their opinion. I certainly don't claim to be an expert in lunar photography or lunar anomalies but I've been extracting information from old documents and ancient manuscripts to compile family trees for over 40 years!!! From my perspective there are names hidden in the crater walls of the Apollo 11 patch. They are written over the top of each other so they are a little obscure and a bit like trying to solve a puzzle. I will show one example and I invite others to have a look for themselves. The name I have extracted is bold against the lighter lettering behind it. I have not enhanced in anyway suffice to say with a little enlargement of the highlighted area. Is this the writing of a young child I have asked myself? Oh the patch is taken from the NASA website by the way. The name does not appear in embroidered versions. Link supplied.

Observations most welcome as always but please note that I am not aware of any other theory or analysis on this and I am not proposing a 'conspiracy' of any kind.
