Q, there are a lot of sites posting images of 'devilish' faces and figures that have either been obscured by tampering or are translucent...so don't be too hard on yourself.

These look amazingly like the traditional demons in our own art and in many religious works on this planet and millions of people believe they exist precisely because they are documented in so many works of religious nature.

What they are, how they got there (perhaps inserted by NASAty as a sublimal message that Mars is not somehwere we want to go) or perhaps carved by an ancient race into stone we will never know until we are standing on the surface and seeing it with our own eyes.

I have seen many of these images.  Here is one of them from Spirit. I cant remember which SOL this is from but it should not be too difficult to find.

The object in question is on the extreme upper right side of the "rock"

There is also a nice reptile carving in the left side of this "rock" if you can find it.

The red box in gogog's post has what I was seeing, but I was the whole creature with arms and legs(but faded out). It looks very similar to our (and marsanomalyresearch's) devil images so I think there is something in those - Maybe the Martians look like that. More likely than looking human-like in my opinion.

Do we think I am making things fit? Quite possibly, wich is why I hate myself for posting it. If, however, it is really there, then it gives it some validity. We have to get lucky one day but will it be in my lifetime? Who knows.

The pinocchio thingy is strange yet so familiar (looks like ribs below it), the face thingy behind it looks just like a rock to me with holes in it although the top of it looks like it has been blurred out.

There is so much about this image that is not right, lines do not match up and in places shadows are not right even the rover mast has a light source coming from the lower left, very strange indeed

Ok Q I will bite, there are lots of strange things in this image (not least the editing, blurring, and out of sync joints), so what is it you see?

Ok, well there is a strange thing on the left hand side of this image and it looks as if it could be a thing. See the image thumbnail and examine the official photo for yourselves.

I wont tell you what I see because it will start off a whole series of what I think is stupid speculations (Yes, I know, even though I am now doing it myself) If you cannot see it, I will highlight it for you.

You know how we think NASA are hiding stuff in plain sight well, take a look and see what you can see if anything in the thumbnail below. The white thing in the bottom right corner is the top of the rover mast thingy.
