I have been approached by several members voicing concern about the standard of posting regarding visual evidence, having looked at these concerns I have to agree that some members have gone somewhat off track by claiming natural geological features are in fact artificial anomalies representing animals, faces, effigies, tiny vehicles, and other creative objects of the posters imagination.
The one thing our community prides itself on is its knowledge of science, engineering, archaeology, geology etc. and it can be quite insulting to members when a poster claims a natural object to be something artificial without any understanding of what it actually is, not only will the poster become isolated within the community, they could also find their posts relegated to the archives thread, and at worse find themselves excluded from the forum altogether.
As a matter of forum housekeeping, over the next couple of weeks some posts and threads may be moved, closed, or deleted, also because of the high number of spammers trying to attack the site, any member with duplicate accounts at this forum may find their accounts being deleted..... Members who feel they may have more than one account at Alien Anomalies, or have any concerns regarding the above anouncments should contact the administrator as soon as possible to avoid any embarrassment.
