A museum exhibition came to my home-town called "Temple of Doom - Ritual Sacrifice in Ancient Peru".
It was a collection of relics from ancient Peru, relating to the mysteries of human sacrifice, power struggles, unimaginable treasures and supernatural deities of one of the world's great lost civilizations - the Moche.
One of the main exhibits was a Larco Bottle. An ornate white Vase about 60cm tall.
It depicted ritual sacrifice in a band around the middle of the bottle, below that there was a lower layer with an unmistakable depiction of a dog-like beast sitting in a spacecraft holding joysticks, with large flames coming out of the back.
Another water carrying vessel elsewhere in the exhibit showed the ritual sacrifice of some poor ****, on a stretcher type thing with faces below the stretcher of people looking up. There was some unmistakable zigzag shaped long thing drawn coming down the neck of the bottle.
Could he being offered up to aliens, with some kind of tractor beam, or could it be simply lightning?
