We all know how good "they" were at making realistic eyes in sculpture. I cant find anything in this one that looks like it is supposed to be there. The Nose is also either in very bad shape or not a nose. I do not think this is a sculpture. IMHO of course.

BTW a lot of stuff from this forum is on that site.

goggog, Very good find. Nice to see you posting again. 

Levelwind, You are correct about the view looking artificial, the tiny-sized detail that can be observed looks very artificial indeed.

Have a look at this slightly sharpened enlarged view which I have darkened by 30%.

You may find that you have to zoom in to spot the artificial-looking detail but there are plenty of objects to suggest a very small species in existence. 

The images from this particular sol are full of object detail in amongst all the larger geological debris but you have to have a good eye to spot it.

I have not marked this image as I feel the majority of the very small object detail is self-evident.

It looks like a Hexagon with a "budha" or other cross legged seated something or other within the circle.  It's more than just a circle.  From what I see, anyway.
