Welcome to the forum.. were all waiting so patiently for the truth as well.. hopefully within our lifetimes we will get some kind of amazing breakthrough in either technology or information...
Hi Commander, (or should I say Hi High Commander?) I am also not a spring chicken, but a tough old bird.
As far as interesting times go, it would be intellectually interesting to have disclosure of aliens, but I do not think that we will really want it when it arrives. This is because any hidden agenda "they" may have had in the past will no longer be hidden and the game will be over. Their deception is no longer a priority and outright domination or extermination is next.
Believing that any aliens who disclose are going to be benign and helpful is bordering on fantasy and there is no way I can see the first ones to disclose themselves being beneficial to humans.
After the first ones, maybe we will get a second and third wave of beneficial ones, I dont know...
The problem is, that any aliens disclosing themselves (sounds like we are talking about 'flashers' exposing themselves!) will probably appear to be helpful and useful. In fact very similar to most of the Sci-Fi films. Very few are pro-humans it seems.

Hi. I've been reading Skippers site for about four years, maybe longer. I send links to his site to my friends periodically, and occasionally spark new interest, such as my friend James West finally getting on board.
