The reason why you never see tracks in the sand is because they are so small that they cannot be resolved by the PanCam.

Here's nother interesting point. Take note of what looks like 'ridges' in the sand. Maybe these are not so plain to see in this image but they stand out well in some other images. Do you notice anything odd about them such as being between what appears to be small rocks? I have found that what appears to us as being rocks are not rocks at all, but tiny 'dwellings' and the ridges, I believe, are covered access ways. This makes sense as the access ways or 'covered surface corridors' would provide adequate protection against the effects of solar radiation.

Just puttin this out there....

Skipper says that when pixels do not immediately respond to light/darkening of image, it is a good indicator of tampering-Not proof-but a good indicator.

If that is the case, I see a whole lot of tampering on this one.

If you are using photoshop...play with the curves settings, and you will see some pixels that do not want to change unless the most ex-stream effect is applied to them. On a side note, I use this same setting all the time to "see" behind shadows and what not...usually works pretty well for that( Is also great for color images and spotting fakes as curves has a more dramatic effect) but not in this image....

I'm not saying for sure it is tampering...just saying something seems strange. As far as the "Pill box"...good find. I don't know what to make of it. Assuming these are in fact tiny structures....I always wonder why we never see any kind of tracks or prints in the sand..

After finding the anomaly shown in the thread, 'A very curious anomaly', I set about exploring the images to see if there were any similar objects to the one seen in that particular image.

Please examine the objects shown in the image below and take note of the object circled more bold than the other circled objects. What is interesting about this particular object is that it has similar characteristics to the object shown in the other thread, only this one has a tube stcking out from it which may possibly be a weapon of some description. I say this as located on the large rock to the left and in other parts of the image are more objects which would appear to be weapons

If my observation is correct, it would appear that Spirit has got itself 'stuck 'in a heavily fortified section of the West Valley.

If some of the circled objects are possible weapons, could they have been constructed by the 'little people' as the objects are also very small in size?

What do you think the objects may possibly be?
