Thanks Xenon, STS-100 anomalies do look like internal reflections(plus camera hand shake), especially after seeing the one over the solar panel which I missed the first time around. I'm not to sure on STS-116 lights though, window reflections from inside the shuttle can be seen with brightness enhanced but highlighted lights still look suspicious to me. I think we have to be very careful in dismissing such anomalies as simple reflections in still pictures, considering available video evidence shot from various shuttle/ISS missions.
Sorry Humanoid but IMHO I think that both this and STS-100 images show nothing other than internal reflections, I turned the contrast fully down and zoomed in, in the case of STS-116, it would seem the objects are reflection from the camera lens onto the porthole, and in the case of the STS-100 image it would seem the objects are reflections on the porthole from inside the shuttle (the same hooked reflection can be seen on the solar panel bottom left), this would also account for the apparent movement of the objects (camera hand shake).
