i tried to find the other pic i was thinking of but couldn't find what i thought.

i did find the bleeding rock pic on skippers site, from #163 in the bio comments.

i think he got the pic from a tom beech? sorry, i should have made a note.

that guys site is gone, basicly and i spent the day fighting a slow loading/page not found kinda day.

i also got a pic that i can't find from spirit rover, that i wanted to look more closely at.

2P128948498EFF0327P2380L4M1.JPG (1024×1024) it has the #16080 infront of the big # that doesn't match up for sol day. but i have a date, march 3, 2005.

i have the pic but wanted the rest of the series and i like to look at the days before and after.

any one know how i can find this stuff?

gbull, it seems he had an old viking or mpf image from trip mccann that had a worm or string thing dangling out of it.

This formation seems completely impossible as simply a rock.

It is just bizarre.

chandre, that looks like an ear? the coloring of the face is cool.

marsrocks, i see the string, didn't JP have a similar worm thing?

and the thing on top i can see.

the whole little structure looks like it has a entrance foyer?!

to me, it looks like an impossible, rock/shadow/light trick.

mouse in a house?

or a shelled creature?

fascinating!

Chandre, to me, it looks like a worm or string-like thing hanging out of its mouth down to the ground.  It is better lit from the right, and I see something in correct position for an ear on the right side.  Also, if you look closely at the top of the dome, there is a structure that looks a lot like the structure on top of the demon throne that is pointy at its tip.  I can see this top structure clearly on one of my computer monitors, but not the other one - so everyone may not be able to see it.

Have you tried gimp yet?

Is that a tongue coming out in between the different camera shots ? Also is the head protruding more with a protrusion on the top right of it or is that my imagination ?

this find is pure napalm
it is an artificial object with a sort of metal ring wihtout any kind of doubt, as it is very defined, probably one of the most clear sightings i've ever seen

If thats true then I revise my guess to ....armadillo .....biggrin BTW I saw a fascinating programme on pyramids in the Sudan desert and it looked hauntingly familiar .....

Do you know Atacama Desert or any Nevada desert?

This object you disclosed is very strange, I can not identify it. Any idea?
It is problematic, that in  this site the published pancam images do not contain this shape, the camera "looks" over it. (Why?)
