Hi Timewarp - I caught this on the Mirror website. Although the commentator from Secureteam 10 suggests that the shape might be a horseshoe especially as it twists but my first thoughts were whether its just another angle of the anomaly we have been discussing below. Maybe 'side' or 'end' on. I've stretched the object in the middle section of slide below to demonstrate what I mean. Just a thought!!
As you may have seen from my 'Similar anomalies but in different locations' thread I am constantly looking for similarities as I believe this adds more weight to an objects existence.
Back in 2015 a video came to light via 'Streetcap1' showing what seemed to be a UFO very close to the ISS. Coincidentally the Soyuz spacecraft was also docked with the ISS at the time.
The UFO was denounced as a fake by many but I have been unable to find a single credible argument to support this claim by any of the so-called debunkers.
I couldn't help but notice the similarity in shape of the UFO in the video to certain photos of the anomaly below.
Observations welcome. If any counter-arguments or explanations exist on the net please post them.
Unfortunately, my hearing is not as good as it used to be so I am having a degree of difficulty in making out what is being said but thanks to G for his analysis.
I have looked at the object more closely using 400% browser zoom and an optical magnifier and have spotted something interesting.
The main light appears to surge when turned on and then the intensity fades back to a lower level. Also, if you move to 41:00 in the second video just as the station and the object move into the terminator there is another pulsing light just below the main light that is not so intense in brightness.
Notice that the surface of the object does not appear to be very reflective. Could the shell of the object be constructed of something other than a metal?
In the view shown below I have arrowed where the second pulsing light appears.

Thermal insulation blanket LOL. Who is trying to kid who?
Members of this forum are definitely not as dumb as these scientific stereotypes seem to think.
Personally, I think this is some kind of craft that is tracking the Space Station and trying to make contact.
If you look closely at the second video for some time you will see that a white light is pulsing in a regular sequence (4 long pulses plus 1 short pulse).
Do you really think an insulation blanket could emit pulses of light in a regular sequence. I don't think so.

These blankets seem too small to me to the same as the object in the Shuttle film, but it's hard to gauge distance and size.
However, there appears to have been some research already done into the Dark Knight satellite - Thermal Blanket theory which I wasn't aware off when I first posted this. My error. Although inconclusive the first image does seem to show characteristics similar to th anomaly.
I still think this is worthy of further investigation.
Thanks for all the contributions to this thread. Great work. What I am trying to do now is find out what Thermal Insulation blankets actually look like for the shuttle and the Russian craft. Please find 2 examples attached. If we can discount these then we are onto something.

I have been playing about with videos and if I can get my hands on a download file I could extract the frames which might give us a range of images.
I cannot access Youtube and social media sites from where I am.
I will investigate the Daily Mail to see if they have more.
The Russians have recently made public a video showing a space craft in the process of supplying the ISS. Just to the left of the supply ship and behind the ISS there appears to be an object travelling at the same speed and on the same course. The video has been uploaded by the Daily Mail. No one suggests that this is a fake.
Amazingly the crew do not seem to be reacting to the visitor in the video and even the reporter suggests that this is probably nothing more than a thermal insulation board. This may or may not be the case. However it also reminds me of a UFO from a few years back identified by some as the 'Back Knight Satellite'. There has been much publicity on this object over the years so I won't linger any more than necessary.
Alien or not it only takes a little rotation of the latest image to make them look very similar. Observations most welcome.
