Yes, I think they are desensitising us with trickles of hope. Very much like the megastructures found by Kepler telescope around a 1500 light year away sun in Sept/Oct which NASA now say might be asteroids... NASA, give the non-believers something to fix on and they will parrot it around the world for you into forums etc

I was excited to see this, what are your thoughts? Closer to disclosure, or just another story for the archives? (My first thought was: "OUTSIDE THE GALAXY"????)

The Milky way is approx 100,000 light years across, and we got signals from outside the galaxy?!?! Lets focus on our wittle Milky Way for now 'eh..
