Here is the front sheet of a document from the NASA archives which shows that they did consider various ways of escaping from the Lunar Surface as early as April 1971.

At least that's when the report was dated. Was this idea around earlier? Surely it must have been considered before Apollo 11.

It has not been difficult to compare 'the artifact' detailed below with the object found by Streetcap 1- something I like to call the climbing man. It is a little more difficult to compare both of

these to the blue light anomaly in AS14-66-9295 which although similar has characteristics all of its own. However I will have a go.

Here in slide one you will see similar versions of the same Apollo 14 image. The differences have been discussed widely on the internet including Keith Laney's site regards airbrushing etc.

so I wont go into that here.

I am however trying to put forward a theory that 'anomalies' appearing in the lunar sky above the Apollo landings may have been an attempt to have some sort of backup plan should things go wrong.

Perhaps before the Presidents '“These brave men" speech NASA may have tried something using something left by a previous Apollo Mission. They would have had to try surely.

Could they have used an existing module in some way to either rescue the astronauts should the ascent stage engines fail to fire or at the very least supply them with enough oxygen for an extended stay.

Was Apollo 10's snoopy carrying extra oxygen for future missions.

Extreme? Maybe?

Slide 1 - Now you see it - Now you don't!! Keith Laney's version shows what NASA's finds hard to reveal.

Slide 2 - The magnified Apollo 14 anomaly compares favourably with Streetcap's version from the Apollo 16 mission. Note the stacked lighter central area and the lesser shades either side.

AS14 Anomaly 2.jpg

Slide 3 - Turning this anomaly 180 degrees I have tried to compare it (as I did with Streetcaps version) to the central area of the Lunar Module.

Its for others to decide if its similar or maybe a different craft - I am merely presenting the evidence.

Observations welcome

I do not wish to bore people with this but I have to conclude what I started if only to add to the body of evidence on whether the object known as the artifact is of alien or human making.

Please note that I am not advocating conspiracy more damage limitation on the part of the people involved.

At the start of this post I made a comparison between the widely documented 'artifact' which appears in the visor of the Apollo 12 astronaut and Street cap 1's lunar sky anomaly I like to call the climbing man.

It follows that I have to now make a comparison between the Streetcap 1 object found in an Apollo 16 photo and the lunar module or a CRAFT VERY SIMILAR.  Of course the suggestion I am making is that there may have been a 2nd craft above the astronauts.  Is this the big secret? Is this the craft that followed Apollo 11 from Earth to lunar orbit and stayed there for future lunar missions?

In slide 1 I have tried to show how I have in this case adjusted Streetcap 1's climbing man to try and produce a mirror image of the left and right side. No other enhancement has been used. This in itself though might have observers running for the exit. That's fine but bare in mind I could still make the comparison with the original (top right).

I have then overlaid an outline of the front view of the lunar module.

Lunar Module Streetcap 2.jpg

Slide 2 - As in the earlier artifact comparison I have now just compared dark and light areas of the anomaly and the lunar module without having to force it.

Observations most welcome.

Hi Timewarp - When you said the 'artifact' looked like some type of craft it got me thinking. I thought Id have a go looking at some different types of craft. Lo and behold I think I may have found something which if the observer looks carefully may be a very good candidate. See what you think.

To me the long light reflecting central column is similar to the central column of the Lunar Module. To me it fits nicely. However its not what can be seen that I first noticed its what cant be seen. The 2 dark areas labelled both side of the central  bright column fits almost exactly with that of the lunar module example. Now for the astronaut to have a lunar module reflected in the visor opens all sort of doors but I wont go there. Now this anomaly has been doing the rounds for years so if anyone has ever drawn a similar conclusion I certainly havn't seen it but if they have I apologise to them now. This is my own work and I will go down with the ship if I'm later proved to be wrong. Its just an idea. Observations welcome and Timewarp thanks for the tip.

Good catch! There would seem to be something there although it's a hard job to determine what the objects really is.

It would appear to have the form of some kind of craft that at the present is unidentifiable.

Thought I might start a new thread on this one. Just recently Streetcap 1 posted a new anomaly which he found on an Apollo 16 photo namely AS16-106-17244. It is being shown on various ufo websites. On seeing it I couldn't help but feel that this looked very similar to the infamous Apollo 12 Visor Anomaly.  The anomaly to which I refer is sometimes referred to as 'The Artifact' on many websites. It has been the subject of some debate and has been fuel for many of the lunar conspiracy theorists. I myself have also made a comparison to a lunar surface anomaly in a previous thread (Please see the Similar Anomalies thread).

I'd like to leave the images to speak for themselves. Observations welcome. (To Streetcap 1) If you pop in from time to time I'd be interested to hear your thoughts on this.
