Alien Anomalies

Found this today as I was looking through Micro Imager pictures.

I see a square socket with a hole in the middle. The piece is metal as there is some squashed and mangled metal all around it along with another wiggly strip of metal in the centreright foreground (lighter area)

The "socket" is as plain as day. I dont think they can say this is a piece which has fallen off the rover.

Rover has rotated the image but same piece of metal with something obviously blacked out You can see the socket bang in the centre, with the blacked out circle to the right and below.
