but impossible to say, could be optical illusion, this place isn't in the other two images overlapping the same area, but the little man is in (the first) one of these links here

look at this road - it has an upright road-sign, different filters, (taking out the cerise red in particular, not done that here ) show writing on it, and a white car-like shape with wheels etc

Interesting things here if you spend a bit of time looking, a light bulb top right, doesn't look like rocks, he's parked the truck in the shadows, up to something dodgy I'd say

Sapa, Good find, but beware of the hazcam images especially the orientation to the side of these particular images (fish-eye effect).

I don't think it is a martian man, but the main bulk appears to have two 'arms' protruding from it.

Could the 'arms' be pipes or something similar?

If you're looking to see how small the structures really are on Mars take a look at the micro image below from the same sol.

I have made some adjustments to the image to improve the edge definition and overall sharpness.

One or two of todays images are interesting. On this one, http://mars.jpl.nasa.gov/msl/multimedia/raw/?rawid=RLB_494698020EDR_F0492236RHAZ00323M_&s=1095 from Curiosity Rover I can see what looks like a small person looking up, the structures around seem to be small scale. All I've done is rotate this selection from the raw rear camera image.

I have included this image to highlight just how small some of the structures are. These structural shapes are only millimetres in size.

Within the yellow ellipse, take note of the single structure near the centre that appears to have a tower or mast protruding from it.

There are also many other similar shapes to be seen in the view.

The suggestion of there being an undiscovered intelligent micro-sized species in existence on Mars would seem inconceivable to many people, but the camera doesn't lie.

What can be seen in the images in this thread shows that what I am suggesting could well be fact. I have always said that you will probably never see these beings due to their very small size but you will see their built structures even though they are very small and hard to spot. Many of the buildings tend to fall within the range of 3 to 10 millimetres in height so you can understand how difficult it is to spot them although there are some slightly larger structures.

The image below is an area to the left of the large rock. Besides the structural object detail that can be observed on the rock itself, just look at what is showing on the surface. From what can be seen it would appear that these tiny beings build their structures everywhere. I think if ever man does go to mars that one of the main tools that should be included in their kit is an optical magnifier.

Here is a view of a large rock that was captured by the PanCam on the MER Opportunity during sol 2551.

A number of images are shown below including a true 3D view for which you will need a pair of red/blue specs.

If you are viewing the 3D image correctly you will find it has an amazing amount of depth and perspective.

Besides observing what is on the top of the rock cast your eyes to see what can be observed on the steep slopes.
