This is actually 2 objects. The pic you found makes it look much more uniform than the one I downloaded a couple years ago.

Actually,  I found this on another Mars anomaly site.  It only had the cropped image.  I did email the webmaster but no response yet.   I do hope he/she gets back to me.  This is a magnificently artificial object like the Metronome.   I really would like to study it a bit.  I haven't been able to locate it on Mr Skippers site.   I will probably ask him as well if he knows.

It may be a good idea in the future to keep photo number as part of the image file name. That way you can always get back to the original. It took me a while to get the hang of that too.

Unfortunately, I have never come across the object before.

If the view was captured by Spirit or opportunity it's possible that a stereo pair may be available so that a 3-D version could be produced.

The object looks like it could be something that was manufactured.

No  I only have the image.  I might have seen it on Mr Skipper's site.  I will check there ...  I just thought someone might have a clue before I go digging.
