By changing the proportions of an images are sometimes able to show what appears to be real proportions. This time horizontal stretch.

There are trained people who look at photos of Iraq or Afghanistan or in WWII and spot tanks, or troops etc so I think we are like these people. However, we have to constantly check ourselves for reality otherwise we become sad men who see ghosties (or aliens) in every corner. This is what co-workers or wives have to offer us - a reality check every so often.

Yes very true...good point...like being color blind, where red and green do not exist..in another far ranging respect,a human eye could limit sight, like what could really be around us ????.....

In my view , the tampering can never quite disguise the eyes; perhaps they are too deeply recessed or the contrast of an iris ...nevertheless it's like intuitive sight. But again I see the eyes,try to put 2 together or 1 or 3..my instinct tells me there is a false ground..too smooth at times around these creatures..but then again, it could be soft sand,mud or water...it is a subjective pursuit in all respects..

I had a co-worker come by the office today at lunch break. He asked why I had the extra pc (laptop) when I had an office pc.

I said do you see the face? He said no I see something that looks like an eye tho.

What do you think this is? I said. He said , All I see is a rock. I zoomed in to the black thing sitting by the right side, with the lateral vents in it. What about that thing? He said, thats just a shadow.

I don't know if people just don't want to see or if they really don't see. I am inclined to believe they want to keep living in thier secure little worlds, Insulated from reality or free thought.

I am glad to have found other Free thinkers with good powers of observation right here. I am no expert, but, a shadow? Really?
