This is the other Egede crater image that I have had to convert to jpg. I have provided a screen shot from the LRO and a 200% version.

If anyone has a photo enhancement package that could improve the quality of these photos please let me know.

Thank you for your comments

Worth a mention is what seems to be a bridge like anomaly in these 2 photos.

The Co-ordinates in Egede crater are supplied on the photo itself at the bottom.

I have converted both LRO images from bmp to jpg

Interested in your observations

I should point out that I did blow the image up below but here is the actual size of the anomaly on the website at 0.5 meter per pixel.

On my machine, these bmp images have red warning signs and are reported as having bogus header data.

Could you post JPG images and then links to the originals please. We would not like to give everyone nasty surprises on their Windows systems, would we?

Besides the forum software itself probably prefers JPG format which means that it can be compressed for space saving in its file system.
I realise that bmp format is lossless format and technically a better format for showing the truth, but generally it is safer and easier to post links to the originals and then an quick image to show us what the original looks like and there the anomaly is located.

Co-ordinates for the 'symbol' anomaly   Lat 51.66   Long 10.57

Co-ordinates for the darkend object  Lat  51.64  Long   10.71

Obviously the 'symbol' anomaly could be a flaw on the camera / film or whatever. I still find it interesting though as it reminds me of 18th century seafarers talking to each other across the water using flags. . Even more interestingly I have found similar land based anomalies which resemble parts of this example. In fact one appears just to the left of the craft like anomaly in my 5th photo.

The darkened anomaly lies nearby and I have done a slight  enhancement of this but I am interested on what members have to say first beforeI load it.
