Q, not quite sure what they are, I think possibly statues or something artificial. I am not saying biological.
You know how a ball rolls around and how often skulls are aligned or in groups when excavated, I think the shape makes it easier for them to stay towards the surface area in mud or water. I don't really know so I am not claiming anything.

Now, I am NOT saying faces. I am saying rocks/objects that look like heads in helmets to me Are we saying that someone or something has chopped off their heads at the neck and these are helmets with heads still inside??? I have heard of this happening in morotcycle accidents but never with space craft crashes !
Can you point out the face part please? I am finding it hard to visualise this and it is not snapping into focus for me.
