Well JetBlack, personally I dont know much about this, but to help me and others, why dont you post some examples of evidence which suggests that the military are panicing?
As far as I know, the official story just says it was not a UFO but some piece of testing equipment and so if that was true, why would they panic?
Your evidence of them panicing if it was good, would lead us to think they may not believe it was a balloon or a test flight after all. If it was good evidence then it would be more to add to the argument that it was a crashed UFO with possible aliens inside as some people suggest.

I have no images for this topic, none at all. All I have is a question about U.F.O.'s, specifically the Roswell Incident.
During this episode, I have been constantly surprised by the reaction of not only the military but the local communties, whether it be Corona or Roswell. It seems to me that the people who were worried the most were the Military. I would love to know why this was.
