This cropped view shown below was rotated 35 degrees to the left and resized to 900 pixels wide.

The red circles show some of the major structures, whilst the areas circled in yellow show the different anthropological shapes which seem to form part of this civilizations' cultural heritage. Many of these shapes are integrated into structures of different sizes and whole groups of structures.

I have carried out the calculation for the first two images shown in the thread. These two images are each 1000 pixels wide. The resolution is approximately 1.32 meters/pixel.

The first image was resized to 2000 pixels wide and a 1000 pixel-wide section was selected. Therefore, the resolution for the image shown below is 0.66 meters/pixel.

Here is the reference for the above image.

http://wms.lroc.asu.edu/lroc_browse/view/M159017963RE

qmantoo, Up to the present I have not calculated the size of any of the features but I will look into it. A related scale is given on the reference page but as I have resized the image I would have to take this into account. I will post my findings on this subject later.

The cropped image shown below was captured during the Apollo 17 mission and the location is very close to Copernicus crater. To bring out the detail on the surface I have applied a shadow-enhancement procedure which has revealed that the moon has undergone a vast amount of terraforming with applied artistic involvement at some point in time.

The anthropological shapes (heads and faces) seen in the image are very similar to what I have found at other places I have researched, namely Mars, the ancient megalithic sites and Antarctica. There has to be a common link somewhere between all these different sites.

To view the features in the image you will have to look closely at the content.

On the ATS thread, there was some discussion about size with respect to the pixels per metre value of the image. I know you and I both agree that there are some smaller beings on Mars than what we are used to here on Earth, but what size would you say these buildings are then?

For many people, size IS an issue and if they feel that something which we know here on Earth is not the same size on Mars (or within 'reasonable' boundaries) then they cannot bring themselves to believe the possibility.

If you have studied the above image you will have realized that at some point in time the lunar surface has been terraformed. This is evident by the sheer numbers of built structures that can be observed at this location. What we are observing would appear to be part of a large city. But how were the builders able to achieve such a feat? We are told the moon has a tenuous atmosphere yet it seems capable of supporting life - enough to construct buildings on the lunar surface!

The image below displays some of the main features circled. Take note of the red arrow. It is pointing to what appears to be a large portal or entrance to a tunnel which can be seen tapering away to a point where it disappears under the surface.

On the 20th July 1994 when Neil Armstrong said, 'There are places to go beyond belief', most people realized that it was a hint at something but they didn't know what. Whilst researching some of the lunar images, after a degree of improving and enhancing them reveals that the astronaut was perfectly correct in what he said.

There ARE places to visit on the Moon that are definitely beyond belief.

Many images are available of the lunar surface but most of them appear so washed-out that one cannot discern any recognizable surface detail. When the images are subject to a degree of improvement and shadow-enhancement it is surprising the amount of surface detail that can be revealed and observed.

The image shown below was used in the 'boulder' thread. I have used the same image in this new thread as the amount of structural detail showing on the surface in this particular image is quite amazing.

Have a look and see what you think.
