The pictures of the sun that the Rovers take sometimes show some really strange effects. Looking at these images the scientists can tell various things about the atmosphere, but we can look at them and see other things. Spirit Sol 1252
The first examples are just plain weird all taken at the same time. The last one even has a second sun on the left hand side. Probably Jupiter or a gas balloon.
The second example taken 30 minutes later has a round circular body at about 4 oclock which is not there in the following image taken within a minute. Must be dust !! haha
