It does look like an anomaly (pipes as well to me) but you need to get another angle as many images are taken days later from a different angle in my experience. You should check the site number and then look at the traverse map and see if the rover imaged the same area later/earlier from a different angle. You'll be surprised at what you may find if you approach it that way.
Looking at that another way, it may be someone sticking their head out of their shelter. Or it could just be shadow and rock. Difficult to tell really. Probably one of those that it is best to just leave and move on to find a better anomaly.

I wanted to know what everyone though about this oddity found on sol 2467 by opportunity rover. There looks to be two parallel beams/pipes/fasteners of some sort overshadowing a higher level of terrain. While there are numerous anomalies that appear unnatural in this image; let's examine this particular piece first. I'm looking for a better resolution photo which may allow for more clarity of detail for examination. Thanks.
