Alien Anomalies

Of course it is a ridiculous waste of money as we all know, but they have to keep up the illusion that we are going to get there. After all, they cannot really stand still but have to bring forward new and innovative ideas to waste the tax payers money and justify their continued existence. Not just for that reason, but that we may need to know more about the Martians in case they invade... (cue The war of The Worlds music) It pays to know your enemy.
