I find it strange that we are finding 'human' looking faces in a lot of images. Is it really that we are human and that we are programmed to recognise human-looking faces in things? The scientists would have us believe this but when is a case of (I can never remember the name - paranolia or something similar) real and when is it meant to be a real face carving or whatever. How many 'faces' do we need to find before it becomes more than just coincidence that these patterns look like faces to us?
I cannot help thinking that many aliens would not look human and so it becomes even more likely that we are 'seeing' human faces when there are none. Why would non-human-looking aliens produce art which was of human faces and features? They wouldn't right?
Yes our ancestors could have come from human-looking aliens, but nothing says that they still have to be around here, in this part of the Universe, does it? They may have moved on to create other worlds of rock-looking, snake-looking, crocodile-looking, ant-looking or caterpillar-looking beings. Why should we expect other human-looking beings to be in the same area of the Universe?
Further to this, we should consider that the conditions on other planets are not the same as here, and so the human form may not be the best one to produce/create. Ants have been here far longer than humans, so in evolutionary terms, they are better evolved or a better design for this planet.. (I am not sure about ants, but some species have been here longer than us)
Because of all this, I can see why other people disbelieve that the human-looking images that we find are really there and not a figment of our imagination.
