I do not know if I am correct, but the background may have been added later and it is probably an 'artistic creation' and not meant to be studied. Similar to a shape being block-filled with colour(or grey). If you think of it this way, it merges into the general background frustration at not having good enough pictures!

resulting in a high probability that there is any living being in motion.

There is a lot of fun to be had with oppy's nav cam shots from sol 1041. I wish I could figure out how to do it here maybe someone can help. If you take these two photos and overlay them then toggle back and forth you can see this guy ducking behind a rock. Probably should have started a new thread but I liked yours and thought this would go with it. nav cam 1041 2 circled.jpg

OBrien, as a self-proclaimed (very wealthy) image expert I fail to understand why you keep asking Iceman that question. Surely you must know the answer ?

The size and scale really is unimportant as most members do not trust the official date anyway. What is important is the structure itself, irrespective of the size of the potential creators.

We have many members on the Forum that do not speak English very well, and they are treated with tolerance, dignity and respect by other members.

This brings to mind posts of a similar nature on Skippers site some time back by 'Winston' who tended to show the same type of intolerance. It was unpleasant then to all concerned and it will not be tolerated on this Forum.

The strange thing is that the other active members seem to understand Iceman perfectly, and Goggog. even though the words are not perfect the intent behind them is pure.

I am going to delete your posts in this thread (and others reacting to it) that I consider inappropriate as they are disrupting the flow of the discussion.

What is the reference number for this image?

Since we do not have the image numbers, what have you calculated are the sizes of the structures you have outlined into the image?
