gmantoo, thanks for posting the data for the image posted above.

I expect some members and viewers are wondering what my interpretation is of the circled objects. Well, here goes....

Listing the objects from the top circle:

1.  A large bore single-barrel gun situated close to another gun emplacement.

2.  The wreck of a ship which is tilted on its side. It has a heavy dent in the hull.
     The bow is higher than stern.

3.  A possible entrance to an underground infrastructure.

4.  A large building of some description.

The stone slab is also interesting. I feel the slab could have been displaced from its original location by either an explosion or huge tsunami. The water theory could well be valid as it would provide a reason why the ship has found its resting place on high ground.

This photograph 2P301080815ESFB1E5P2537L6M1 is version 1 of a photograph produced for M - MIPL (OPGS) at JPL on Fri, 17 Jul 2009 05:32 ( calculated Sol 1967).
It was taken with the PANCAM, through the Left camera, using a 482nm (30nm bandpass) (blue) filter on the Mars Rover Spirit.

It is a Sub-frame EDR picture which is raw, is NOT liniarised, and is NOT thumbnail sized

The picture was taken at site number B1 on drive number E5, and the command sequence number P2537 to take the picture was instructed by PMA & Remote Sensing instr. (Pancam, Navcam, Hazcam, MI, Mini-TES) and belongs to the group 2000 through 2899 - Pancam sequences

Scientists, educational institutions and text books inform us that no intelligent life has ever been found on other planets.

Have a look at the circled objects shown in the image below and decide for yourself what kind of existence could have created them. I believe the objects give us some detailed information about the history and life existence that at some time appears to have occupied the planet.

Also, take note of the large stone slab with two parallel ridges. The slab seems totally out of character with the surrounding geology.

The image width has been resized from 512 to 755 pixels. The image is not very clear due to being a low resolution original. The anaglyph gives a clearer view.
