i found the object also from another image with another angle.
it's not clear but can be seen with a little of work i think

http://www.esa.int/esa-mmg/mmg.pl?b=b&keyword=nepenthes&single=y&start=4

download the TIFF one.

i'm working on it but sure u guys will be faster.

i think is of course a metallic object with geometrical nearly triangular shape, with one or maybe a couple of blue semi-speheres on it.

confuse

All ESA color pics have crazy amounts of noise which is derived from the color filtered layers. The ESA nadir image tends to be higher resolution than the color filtered images, and has no noise.  Pulling original ESA data is time consuming because the files are very large and are in the img format.

Am I correct in saying that even the tiff image has been compressed/tampered in this case? It looks as if there is a layer of compression/tampering which is stopping us from zooming into the raw pixels although it looks very blocky.

Are these really the pixels, because I thought pixels view would show squares of different colours but in focus. These appear to be blurred which makes me wonder...

Dont know if I am right though. Can someone explain please?

I couldn't find the original link - but this is your pic brightened a bit:

rotated 180.

It appears to be a roughly pyramid shaped mound.  The face of it in the sunlight is highly reflective.  Its side is extremely well illuminated similarly to the inside wall of the nearby crater.

It is interesting to see a pyramid shape so close to a crater, as you would think a meteoric impact of this size would blow away any mounds nearby.  This leads one to wonder if that is actually a crater - or could it possibly be an excavation next to a defunct pyramid.  The bright blue part in the wall of the pyramid shaped mound resembles a circle or an eye to some extent.

I would be interested in seeing the original pic if you can find a link to it.

i want to present again an anomaly i found months ago.
at that time we was like 4 or 5 members in this forum, now that we are a lot more and we have the support of new members very skilled in image processing, i want to ask to evryone intrested to give me his opinion upon the following anomaly.

the image's code is
387-09048-5212-6-co3-01-NepethesMeansae_H2

cannot post the full image for technical problems, imagashack is unable to load it,  i think i must re-organize completly my image software...

the anomaly is inside the dark crater

in my opinion we have a metallic object reflective, its shape is really similar to something we could see in a science fiction movie, i think it may be a craft of some sort.

i'm sure u guys have better tools and skills to focus on it and give a clear and better vision of this object, and whatever i want ur opinion.
bye !
