All my imagery I recieved off of Google Earth. THe newer additions have the sky the moon, and mars. NASA's worldwind has Venus but clarity of the globe isn't as great as it is on google Earth. If you download Google Earth. One of the newer historic maps is from the United States Air Force and was produced in the 1960's. This has completely different names for each of the regions could lead one to believe that Mars was once called Endor.
The html and snapshot on google earth do not work very well.
JLA, please excuse my ignorance, but I have not heard of this area before. The only name I recgnise is Candor which I assume applies to the chasm ? Could you post an MOC image of the area with an image number/link so we can have a look at what you are referring to and then I will be more than happy to discuss ideas and theories ?
Sorry, I dont know how to view anything that you are talking about. I do have an old version of Google Earth, but what do I do with the code you have posted?
What does everyone think about the Google Mars images of Browning Land and the other faces on the planet mars?
Does anyone else find it odd that the 'settlement' at browning land or Candor isn't as acknowledged as it appears on the application?
There really aren't any authorative sources of information about browning land. What is visible is what is commonly referred to as a broken arrow, and at least two square buildings that are monumental in size compared to the average heigth of humans. The developers of marsanomolyresearch.com as well as the publishers of the book should include a chapter specific the site that clearly illustrates the popular as well as accepted theories.
My personal theory and creative imagination leads me to propose that Mars was once as green as Siberia and that the mile and a quarter long broken arrow was piloted by 'greys' who guided an enormous chunk of exo-terresterial/matter into the planet creating its charred appearance and seemingly endless access to their personal life force. Amazing to think about the destruction it brought the planet so that an alien settlement could be built and supported?
What makes it even more interesting is to compare their method to European imperialism. What do you think the martian landscape consist of today? A dead mining colony or a vast alien civilization? Interesting to think about.
