but if you follow the link, I inverted this image which made a dark triangle white, and it is attached to structure beneath it. I just didn't do a good job of clearing it up.... I may have a try at it again..
I have seen these white/silver triangles before in photographs, and the ones I have seen before appear to me to be some kind of processing artifact - but that was on the moon photographs (that were processed onboard the spacecraft) and not on mars photographs, so it may not apply here. Perhaps they are both some kind of actual structure on the surface and I just assumed that the moon ones were artifacts.
