Qmantoo right, it is full of examples where we can greatly doubt about this (Rover Tracks).2N242128678EFFAUH8P0725L0M1-tampoering.jpg
NASA uses this often to highlight the presence of the Rovers, it's like on the Moon very suspect able evidence. On the following picture do I draw circle to highlight holes on the tampering layer.

the track is perhaps not a rover track, but maybe made by something else. That is what is being photographed perhaps. The rover track is fairly obvious as such. the other one has no tread marks and is on its own. What makes you all think that it is a rover track rather than something else?

My experience of Rover tracks is that they are in most cases used to cover something important.

Here I show my pictures due to this lack of confidence on NASA.

I agree Elvis the environment is very wet it is indicated by the color variability of the Rover's tracks and formation of it.

yes, i was giving the vert tract a pass as it might be on the lighter terrain which might be harder.

but the chassie would have to clear a large rock and the visible track seems to weave through and over 3 other rocks.

The second one actually seems to have two single tracks meeting a 90 degree angle...

The first one drives right over the anomaly at right angles...

no clue yet but great find, chandre.

the 2nd pic is more disturbing coz we should see a second track on the horizontal.

don't know what to make of the first pic. road kill? kidding!

if the rover was doing figure 8's, it might make sence.

but there is alot of disturbed looking earth there.

While looking for more images of the 'hangar' Element115 posted I was surfing images of the previous sols

http://marsrovers.jpl.nasa.gov/gallery/all/spirit_n1304.html

I came across some images with strange tracks.

There are the normal rover tracks in one as you can see, but there is also a lighter single track. Any ideas ?
