I understand the distinction between the PTP aspect and the forum aspect.
There is so much good work done here and elsewhere, in bringing the anomalies to light and posting them on the internet for all to see. This is very valuable because it highlights all of the examples of the cover-up in progress and as a background question it asks - why???
I think the point I was making is that all these amonalies that are posted to forums just get lost - partly because there is no structure to forums (well only broad headings on most forums) and because forums are time sensitive. Each post 'ages' and people do not often go back in time and look at the posts that were made before the current period. This is particularly true if the forum is a very active one with many different threads being started each day. People just dont have the time to read interesting post that were from maybe a week ago and have been buried.
This is the drawback that I was highlighting and I was saying that perhaps there should be some kind of organised cataloging or pulling-together of the same type of evidence.
I feel it is a great shame that all this good evidence is going to waste and being lost, buried under the new great evidence.
I for one do not wish to spend my time cataloging these into sections, but perhaps there could be a system of tags or keywords that would allow very focused searches to be made in the future, should anyone need to do some research.
I can imagine NASA and the government officers laughing their heads off because there is so much evidence but few people are pulling it all together and making a 'case' of it. Skipper is one of those who is pulling it all together, but unfortunately there is still a disbelief mentality out there and many people just do not (want to ) believe that there is alien life anywhere else - in spite of all the evidence.
I suppose I am voicing my frustrations more than anything really. It is not a criticism of this forum or the time and effort everyone is putting into searching for anomalies.
I am not expecting any government to tell me what is real or not, nor do I want them to. Why is it so important for someone else to tell you what is real? Many thanks to this forum! I believe we have all seen enough to "know" there was, or is, life elsewhere. This is just the beginning!
I think your last post has highlighted a common misperception and is the reason we are reworking the Forum at the moment....
The Forum consists of two sections ;
1. Alien Anomalies This is where like-minded individuals meet to discuss and post members finds and general points of interest. Not all Alien Anomalies members are members of the PTP and the work we post in this part of the Forum is not part of the PTP but may well eventually be used to support Skipper claims as an independant body of work into similar anomalies. We have a seperate video channel in process for Alien Anomalies work and this will highlight the anomalies members are finding. Our first 3D video of Xiriuxs work has already been launched.
2. The Planetary Truth Project This area is for all supporters of Skippers work, any discussions regarding his reports and ideas on how we will promote HIS work, not our own. We have a seperate video channel presenting Skippers work that falls under the PTP banner. Humanoid has worked on this and has previously posted this under his own steam. The PTP section has done a lot of work on a Mission Statement and creating our identity with a logo. Please remember that we are not the ONLY PTP chapter, there are other sites and supporters that are also PTP but they are different chapters. One day we hope there will be independent chapters all over the world working together to support and promote Skippers work.
So to summarise the difference ;
- Alien Anomalies should be fun, its where we find our own anomalies and discuss our ideas. We should try to be as scientific as possible but we can also be creative and cutting-edge as this part is not a reflection of the PTP.
- We will highlight members finds under the Alien Anomalies banner, not under the PTP banner.
- The PTP section is more serious, it is there to discuss and support Skippers work and to find ways to bring it to the attention of the public out there. (Please see our posts in the HUB and PTP Supporters pages to see what we have already discussed and feel free to add your own ideas)
- The PTP section will promote Skippers work only and his reports and book.
- The PTP section provides a platform to discuss Skippers work and book and to make your own suggestions about these.
gmantoo, you share our passion...but not all members are PTP members. For this reason, we invite all members and other outside PTP supporters to contribute to the drive forward for the PTP awareness. You can do this with suggestions and ideas.
We are creating the videos as a first step, once the book is released we can use it as a tool to approach the media in each of our countries.
....we are focussed on making a difference and creating an awareness of the PTP.... the question we have been discussing is how to do that most effectively.

I somehow thought that the PTP was aimed at convincing people that there was something out there and also to try to put pressure on NASA and the government to come clean about what they know.
If these are the aims and objectives, we owe it to JPS and others like him to try to document and catalogue all our finds as well as analysing (in laymans terms) what we think we are finding.
Yes, of course we all enjoy looking for and finding anomalies, but we must not get side-tracked by the journey and scenery and lose sight of the destination.
There are people out there in the employ of the government who would love us to discuss and debate and waste all our time on finding anomalies but the real issue is not what we find, but why the government are keeping these details from us.
The anomalies are just the evidence that is needed to prove that there is a conspiracy but that now is obvious and gets more obvious each day. We no longer need that kind of proof (after all, how much proof is enough?) What we already have and what is on the internet is more than enough to prove that we are being lied to.
No, I am convinced that the government would love us to waste time looking for more and more proof but time is getting short and we need to focus on pulling together the pieces of the puzzle and drawing conclusions.
That is what we should be concentrating on otherwise we will have so much evidence and so little result.
gmantoo, you ask a good question I think we could debate it until we were blue in the face (LOL) and still not reach a definite conclusion about what we have/are finding.
Personally, I believe much of what we are seeing on the surface is the result of a cataclysmic event in the past, who can say how long ago 50 , 500 or 5000 years. Some of the inexplicable humanoid remains/evidence cannot have survived that long in the open unless it has somehow been preserved by a process we are not yet aware of.
I think we seem to have found evidence of all of the things you have listed.... but were does that leave us ?
Personally, for me the journey is always as much if not more fun then the destination... and I am really enjoying this ride. I post what I find, what I see and most all my PERSONAL interpretations of what I see. It may be wrong, it may be right, I doubt we will ever truely know...the fact is I really don't care, the fact that I/we are doing this is enough momentum forward for our visions and goals and enough satisfaction for those of us who are members of the PTP.
A year ago this was not possible and therefor did not exist in this state. WE have made that happen as a community and I am incredibly proud to be a part of that, as should we all be

It is all very well analysing the pictures, but we have to be doing it to come to some conclusion (as well as enjoyment, of course).
Beings 1) Are we saying that one type of intelligence is a snake-type being?
2) Are we saying that another type of being is a rabbit/cat type ?
3) And that there are fish too and possibly tortoise type beings?
4) Possibly bi-pedal beings who wrecked their spacecraft in the past?
5) What other types have we found?

Reason for so much tampering? Richard Hoagland seems to think that there is evidence for humans/bi-pedal beings having gone off-planet some time in the past which may account for NASA tampering with the data so much. (I dont want to start a conspiracy theory thread here, so please dont.)
