There are plenty of sites around the world that reveal fossilized remains simply due to erosion and if there exists or existed life elsewhere it may be possible to compare such surface features of partially exposed objects as well.  They may 'now' be 'rocks' yet that doesn't always stipulate that they are simply minerals; perhaps many 'rocks' are actually fossils?

Here's an image from Zhucheng, China... A Chinese worker walks on a mount that is strewn with thousands of dinosaur bones in Zhucheng

If you have to strain to see it for what it is, you're doing it wrong. As opposed to looking for anomalies, look for normal stuff (or what mainstream theories predict), ask questions, and find answers. I agree that anomalies should be obvious to be believable.

Mainstream science continues to tell us that Mars is uninhabited, so what mainstream predictions are available to us in this case?

Yes, we can look for anomalies relevant to geology or weather as these are the only topics where science can possibly conceive of differences to our own climate and geology. Any other suggestions of life would be treated with incredulity by standard science, wouldn't they. So.. what choices do we have as far as life on Mars goes?

Hong Sung Hak, I think you are right on track.  I have been fascinated with this time period for quite a while.  Here is one from just three sols earlier (Oppy's nav cam 2147).  In fact there are several rocks in the area that look water eroded as well.  The ones on the bottom are from Oppy's pan and nav cams 2171.  They are of the same area but offer a slightly different view.  There are water eroded rocks and fossil looking evidence.  In fact I posted one a while back that I think has a buried skull peering out of the sand from Oppy's nav cam 2175.  Anyways, there is definitely something going on here.  If you look at the area I cropped it looks like a snake to me.  The first one is the pan cam and the second is the nav cam.  Doesn't it look like the thing has moved down the rock face a little and developed a curl in it's tail?  Maybe I'm crazy but I think this entire area needs a good look at.  Keep up the good work.smile

Just try a different approach.  It will pay off.

It agree. The unbiassed position is necessary at research

a)hong sung hak: Your first image has a feature within it that strongly resembles a fish, but just because it looks like a fish doesn't make it a fish.

  Yes, I Agree with you.

Universe is so limitless.. Our solar system is very tiny legeon in our galaxy.

 Mars is neighbor planet.

That's not so different form earth.
I Think mars has enough capability to keep lives.

If there were alive beings, it would be similiar with our planet.

I dont understand how these could possibly be things because of size, location, etc.

Although I can see the shape and likeness of all these things in this thread and other threads and even my own threads(!) , my brain and common sense just cannot understand how these could be real.

The rock with the metal bar running through it is similar to the picture of 'concrete' with the reinforcing metal rods. This requires humanoid size and at least humanoid intelligence (I am not saying they are humanoid-shaped) to make it. Probably something with arms/appendages too.
