Newbie.. Great post.. especially the purple image... Really interesting structures can be easily seen.

I have had these images sitting on my harddisk for a long time. People on this site are the only ones so far that seem to be able to appreciate them.. lol The Apollo image archive uses different naming conventions between the listed and downloaded images, so that will be a challenge to find, but Ill get on it. and I did keep all of the original filenames in the images when I was editing, if you hovor your mouse over the above images you should see them. The originals are all in .tiff format.

These are some anomalies I found on the Arizona State Univ. website  http://ser.sese.asu.edu  in both the lunar orbiter and Apollo image archives. I used Gimp to modify colors in some of them, the rest are just cropped out of the originals. Note the green image with the satellite dish?? in the upper left hand corner from Apollo 15, and the Lunar Orbiter image I recolored in purple appears to me to be a HUGE city with geometric structures strewn everywhere. And the pipe?? in the b&w Apollo image.
