Chandre,  I noticed that if you look just to the right of the white patch, you will find what appears to be tracks from your snake.  It is making the same track as our earthly "sidewinder".

Thanks Chandre!  You're correct, there are several items of interest in this photo.  Hopefully people will keep  digging into this one.  Nice snake!

doney, thats an interesting image ! I've done some work on it and found a few anomalies in this area

Faces are always hard as there seems to be symmetry in a lot of rocks on Mars. The 'snakes' look a lt like fingers as well and theres a very organic looking shape just behind the head. The churnned up white area to the right is not a rock, in fact I would love to know what it is ! BUT...the best find is to the right of this

Call me crazy but that looks a lot like a snake !

nice find! very interesting, it does look like something other than a rock.

looks like a mini-predator! lol, sitting on a hover disk! with arms on a tray.

j/k!

seriously tho, the white triangle is odd too.

Hi doney, welcome to the forum, a lot of images can create optical illusions (as in the case of this thread.....Here )

The rock does seem unusual (geologically speaking), but we would need to look at the original image, can you supply the original link?

I have several dozen photos that needs to be examined by the public. Let me know if you want to see more like this one! Download the jpl photo and zoom in. Maybe you can extract more detail.
