Sorry Chandre.. Ive changed my mind... for the moment The deail on the edge of the hill is quite detailed.. I think its genuine..normally cropped hill are very smooth but the sky has crops.. I'll check and see if i get anything..
Thanks thewatcher, that was exactly what I believed I was seeing. Actual horizon is just behind rover. Structures and possible vegetation in or under a dome ? Does the 'hill' look natural or is it possibly artificial under all that tampering....
Hi Chandre.. MarsRocks and others.. The thick black line through one of your images is a blatant attempt to hide the structures on the hills behind. Ive gone after them.. find below the prisoners i took ;)

The mystery behind Tracy's Rock may have been answered in Skippers last post. The images Bean and the mosaic used were the original unsanitised images. What we access today has been sanitised and therefor looks different.
I am going to take this as fact, and will post some more anomalies off the mosaic just for the fun of it.
Panning across the background from the left of the image to the right
There is something metallic looking on the crest of the hill, just to the right of that another metallic disc reflecting the light and seeming to have a tube to the surface, to the right of that are what looks like structures and an 'tin-pushing' tower.
There are some strange landformd visibl and partially obscured by the rock. Then a strangely square corner on a crate with something that looks like a metallic craft in the crater ?
The more I look at this image the more convinced I am that a false horizon has been created by the blue smudged line in an attempt to get our brains to perceive the ground level as higher than it is. My eyes tell me that the actual ground level is v isible just above the rover. I will even add that the 'hill' appears more like a dome with structure visible within it, but hey that is just my very personal opiniion. You have to step back, squint your eyes and look at that to see what I mean.
Ps, the black lines are not structures or aereals, they are the mosaic match marks.

This is grate find Chandre, I had to look close to it.
I believe Alan Bean put some true to his paintings as payoff to the future. Because of that I use his painting to get more real view. As I sow the “stone” has architecture, like some kind of pile dwelling for instance, you can see the piles has the same form and fits perfectly as three-dimensional drawing. Stone having all that is not likely to find. The shadow also confirm the “stone's” sweep is made of straight lines.
Now, we all know I have developed a fascination with Mr Bean in Space a.k.a Astronaut Alan Bean....
I have been fascinated by anomalies of his mission and his strange artwork. In a previous post I mentioned that I was going to discuss the 'mosaic' anomalies in the Apollo images and here it is.
The Hasselblads used did not need to take mosaic images, they were able to capture the images in one frame. So why are we seeing these mosaics on what should be one frame shots ? Simple answer is tampering. See last post for my ideas on that.
Now we come to this post and the concept of synchronicity yet again.
I want us to take a closer look at Tracy's Rock. Another post I was working on (the Lunar Space suits) piqued my interest in Schmitt which led me to the image of him walking behind this rock and I decided I would like to take a closer look at it. First a little history lesson from Wikipedia (and imagine my surprise when Mr Bean popped up there as he seems to all over)
Tracy's Rock, known as Split Rock or the Station 6 Boulder in the scientific literature, is a large boulder visited by the Apollo 17 crew on December 13, 1972 at their Taurus-Littrow landing site. "Tracy's Rock" is its popular name.
Scientist-astronaut Harrison H. Schmitt and mission commander Eugene A. Cernan spent considerable time studying the rock and its vicinity at station 6 during their third Extravehicular Activity (EVA-3).
"Gene stepped to the northeast corner of fragment 1, put his left hand on the dust-covered shelf to support himself, and reached out as far as possible toward the center of the dusted area and swept the bag twice from his right to his left, leaving furrows and, at the lefthand end of each furrow, a small mound of dust where he stopped... A labeled detail from frame AS17-140-21496 shows the sample location, the area on the shelf probably disturbed by his left hand, and the area on the ground between fragment 1 and the foreground rock that he disturbed while taking the sample and earlier, at about 165:25:48, in the flightline."[1]
At about 165:33:38, Cernan took a series of photos from higher up the hill. In this photomontage, Schmitt is standing to the left of the rock and the Lunar Roving Vehicle (LRV) is parked to the right.
"Cernan - 'I haven't seen the rock from this perspective in nearly nineteen years. My hand print really shows you how big the rock is and, in 21482, you can see across to the South Massif and the Scarp. The Scarp looks small in this photo, but I remember how big it was (80 meters) because we went up it.'"[1]
The Tracy's Rock/Station 6 panorama is also featured in David Harland's "Geology 101 Field Trip" on the Apollo Lunar Surface Journal's "Fun Images" page.[2]
Why "Tracy's Rock?"
The patch of dirt on the north face of the boulder is the subject of a painting by Apollo 12 astronaut Alan Bean. Bean took up a career as a professional artist after he left the Astronaut Corps and, in the years since, he has developed a considerable reputation as a space artist.
As a result of the particular painting in question, those who know the story call the Station 6 boulder "Tracy's Rock". Tracy is Gene Cernan's daughter, who was nine years old at the time of the mission.
"Cernan - 'It was on this part of the rock that Al Bean wrote "Tracy", my daughter's name, in one of his paintings. After we came home I started to see a picture of the boulder in lots of places. It was the picture of Jack going past the corner of the rock (21496), one of the pictures from my pan. It became very popular. One day Al Bean came by and said he was doing a painting of it.[3] And it was a big painting, six feet by three feet or something like that.
"Al likes to have stories in his paintings and he wanted to talk about it. So we talked about the slope and how hard it was to climb up there and I said that, if I'd known the picture was going to get so much notoriety, I wished I would have done something that I hadn't even thought of at the time. And that is to have printed Tracy's name in the dust.
"Al's daughter Amy and Tracy had grown up together and he asked 'How would you have done it'. So I wrote it out on a piece of paper and, some time later, he called and wanted me to come over and look at what he'd done. He had erased the place where I'd taken the sample and had put in Tracy's name, instead.
"And in the little story he put with the picture,[4] he said that he'd done it to save me the trouble of going back to do it myself, and to save the taxpayers the expense of sending me back."
End of history lesson.
Well, I had been studying anomalies on the image that Bean painted, and there were a lot ! But something was worrying me about it as it was a mosaic and that did not seem right, I was sure there would be more detail on the individual shots so I visited the web-site and found that there were single shot images of this. So why the mosaic ? This is the mosaic image reworked a bit by me
It is obvious that these are MUCH clearer than the mosaic and they do not show any anomalies, so why was the mosaic created and why did Bean choose to paint that rather than one of these ? Is he perhaps hinting at something with his painting ?

Area that has geometric shapes reminiscent of a window (blue) and carved bias relief door (yellow)
There are also structure-looking anomalies in the background.
Now my point, why are these visible on the mosaic only ? Why did Bean choose to paint them with anomalies clearly visible. Which images are the true images ?
The only anomaly I could find on the NASA ones is this which is on the top right corner of the 'door' above.
