Hi Humanoid
Nice find. Image 3 has a similarity to something I found in one oif my other posts, lets call it a 'hinge' . In your image its hanging over the front middle of the machine, in my image it is immediately below the arrow.

This image is from Spirit navcam taken on sol548. Several interesting things can be seen here-
1. something seemingly standing upright out in the distance. What is it? A stone?
2. that looks like a hole in the ground?
3. strange "rock" with again, a rectangular hole in it?
