OK, and for today...another anomaly from this image...and yes I don't like posting 'faces' as we all know they can be easily discredited...but I can't resist this one as it makes me think of Jabba the Hutt and the Empire State building ? confuse

Erm...actually someone else found the object Chandre, I had seen it at another site, to be honest I don't remember where (surely in one of my links I've posted in Links page) and at the time decided to visit the source and have a look at it myself. Over time I have saved a few interesting images shown at other sites and I will be posting them in the coming days smile

. Just wanted to make clear it wasn't my find, thats all smile

Another clear anomaly in the image. I've still left some in case anyone else wants to have some fun ? I'm posting this one as Humanoid has found a similiar shape in his 'shiny object' post

Chandre, I have has a quick look at the images, I think anomaly 2 could be where the rover has driven over causing the indentation (you can see the striped indentation of the wheels)...But the object that is in the hole looks hollow or tube like. ?

Your 3rd anomaly reminds me of a fungi I once found, when I cut it open it was a deep mat black that seemed to swallow the light.

I am still looking at your 1st anomaly, something niggling me about this image, I think I need to play around with it before passing comment, very nice find smile

Hi everyone
I have been doing the same as Papa, downloading random images and then examining them for anomalies. Found some interesting things on this one

Anomaly 1 -what I will call the 'gutter' highlighted in red shows a square structure and what appears to be a clear channel and a bit further to the right a round ring/pipe of some sort

Anomaly 2 - a strange hole which I cannot understand how it was created unless the earth collapsed in to hollow cavity ? It shows what looks like a pipe/pump/machine ?

Anomaly 3 - one of Skippers lovely split rocks with nice symmetry. The anomaly here is the very dark 'shadow' in what appears to be complete contrast with the other shadows in the image.

There are a lot more anomalies in this image, but I don't want to be the only one to have all the fun. Happy hunting
