Thanks Humanoid, those sites were informative ! I think I remember Skipper referring to them as possibly organic 'mushrooms' in one of the reports. Does any inorganic matter on Earth grow on a stalk ? How is the stalk strong enough to support the elevated blueberry ? I see NASA ground through one to show a cross-section but it does not tell you what they concluded. Just a reminder that Mars really is other-worldly ! I hope to have the opportunity to see it in person one day.biggrin

Chandre, those "pearls" all over the place are the so called Martian blueberries as officially explained. I think Skipper mentioned them in one of his reports, don't remember which exactly.

That is one cute little critter ! Love those little bobble-eyes ! Seriously, those are very strange rocks and what are the 'pearls' all over the image ? Do you have any ideas what it may be Humanoid ? It seems partially elevated off the sand.

LOL ! We both have snails on our mind as I also think it looks organic biggrin 
I am sure that Skipper has seen it as it is in one of his favourite (and mine- Murias) civilisation evidence areas behind the Colossal Head. There are more similar shapes in the image strip. When I first started looking at it (a year ago) the other shapes were clearer but we seems to have had some NASaTY tampering applied to the image since then (you know what I mean) !no

Another strange landform that may possibly be surface water except for the strange shapes and symmetry of an arrow and the edge of a square ? Pity about the ice/cloud/tampering??? over the area to the right as I can just detect shapes through it but nothing I can enlarge enough to show here.
