Found interesting bits, doorways to underground hole? Creepy things, An X marks the spot,  pointed and curved shapes carefully designed and cut into the rock, some metal below the X?

All one tiny bit of the BPI, I've unsharped and played with contrast etc nothing added

I would have to agree with you on that one. The lust for gold seems to be a built-in trait of humanity. I can even feel it whenever it is mentioned. It seems to go deeper than money. If there is gold there I would be willing to bet that much of it is from earth.

All I can say is ... wow ... Aliens ... they are real.  Imagine what kind of alternate technologies and knowledge we're about to gain.  Even if everything's blown up, theres so much of interesting debris there.  The first people to get there and bring stuff back are going to make a killing with the technology and artifacts they find there.  And I think thats why everything is censored.  As usual with most things in this world, it comes down to greed.  Its not some great conspiracy.  They've hit a treasure trove and don't want the public to know.   I like to hear what Phil Plait (That bad astronomy puppet guy) has to say about these pictures ...  We should start a kickstarter to send a private cubesat to Mars and send some uncensored pics back ...

6 more of about 40 to go.

There is so much stuff in the gigapan I could never find it all, but i can try!

The highlight tool I use is in photoshop. Use the airbrush tool on the last overlay copy at about an 8 flow. Oh and dont forget to use overlay in the drop down menu or u will paint instead of highlight. That would invalidate your evidence.(IMHO) This technique does not add , subtract or cover any pixels. It does change their color tone, not their shading.

It does mention the Venus theory as a possibility and is based on many scientific reports by well-known academics as well as some alternative thories. Well worth a read if you don't mind wading through the technical details Haven't finishde it yet, it's a long read...

I've been reading Sleepwalkers by Koestler and was interested in how Kepler got his 3 laws by having to work on Mars' orbit. This thread is awesome, I'm slightly obsessed by the Mars photos atm, (there's so much that is definitely Made by Someone rather than naturally occuring), and thinking about what happened and wondering if Velikovsky was right about Venus, Is the book by GH along those lines Chandre? I might get a copy.

ps I actually think that bigger things than frogs can fall in the fractal rain, like those green children but ffs I can't remember where I read about them it was so long since.

Some really nice finds here. Macten, I really like the 'highlighter' technique. Pops right off the page at you. Looks so much like metallic debris to my eye, boy do I wish we could reach over and turn it over wink It looks thin and flexible compared to something carved in rock, my humble opinion. Reading Graham Han**** and parties 'Mars Mystery' at the moment. They paint a vivid image of what might have happened on the surface and would explain what we are seeing in these images.

Macten there was nothing silly about your last post but I do understand your concerns, the "downright scary" anomalies sound interesting and we look forward to seeing your other finds.

Thank you Macten in all of your images we see debris containing objects with intelligent design behind them (including some you did not highlight) and we thank the censors for leaving them there for us to find, I still think the debris and the position they are part of a recent flooding event and your images show this up nicely, great find.

Another interesting feature in Nasa's BPI

If you zoom in on the small circle in pic 2 you will see a very clear eye with white and colored iris and the black center. The large circle appears to be something creeping around the corner.

This pic has been triple layered.

I downloaded thier max image and it is not anywhere near as clear as the one online.  I just go to the BPI and screenshot, then do the layering to clarify it more.  If I dont do the layering sometimes I cant tell the foreground images from the background. That leads me to believe that there is an application over the entire pic.

Here are a few more finds in this pic.

Wow, this thread is amazing.  Nice find Macten, I know what you mean about the amount of anomalies at Rock Nest it can be over whelming.  Did you get this one off of the Billion-pixel view?  I was going to download it but it's so big and they want my name, email, and reason for downloading it.  Did you go through all this?

Thanks Levelwind, I had forgotten about that one.  Major wreckage in that thread.

The BPI has so many anoms it would take forever to document them all.  I had seen this image before but never analyzed it till now.  It reminds me of a brontosaur except for the big triangular piece on its back. It is not part of the background as it creates a shadow. Other parts of things with right angles spokes and circles are evident in the pic and throughout the entire BPI.

In the pictures section of the Nasa Billion Pixel image there is another pic of a "shiny" object like the one that Alec12 found. They (Nasa) are claiming that the white or shiny objects are part of the heat shield that was blown away during entry.  Just how far and wide does this debris field extend?  I for one am not too sure.  It seems a long way off.

I took some screenshots directly off the viewer as it has more resolution than the tiff or jpg.  The cog or pinwheel phenom has been altered to the point of almost being obscure when viewed close up. I could not clarify it.

I had done some work on the disk and white paint chip but left them on my other pc. I will add them later.  The "paint chip" appears to be appearing from in between 2 layers of soil or rock and has a design on the upraised or folded portion of it.  Not much to see from the disk.

I am including a crop from the same viewer of another interesting portion of the scene.  There is a very interesting decorative piece that is reminicent of a ceremonial knife among other questionable objects and a stone carving.  I will re-post a better pic of the paint chip when I get home.

Enjoy!

Thank you Alec for sharing this great find, it is an amazing resolution and your images are so clear, the JPEG version http://photojournal.jpl.nasa.gov/jpeg/PIA16919.jpg is downscaled and very poor resolution showing very little of the detail, maybe if other members played around with your images they could even show more detail.

The cog/wheel is fascinating me as it is clearly artificial and standing upright (I am sure one of our members have posted one of these in an past), as far as I know the MSL does not have anything like this on board, the lack of shadow from the cog is a little concerning but I still do not think it is an image artefact.

The white object could be paint/coating that has fallen from the MSL (notice the lack of dust covering it), and as for the buried disk, my guess is that it could just be sunlight shining through the rocks.

Great find worthy of more research.

Found this in the Billion Pixel image view from Curiosity at Rock Nest, in the rock group just at 2 o'clock from the "rock for scale", there is 3 things that does'n seem right here, a white triangle-shape thing, a white line between the rocks, and a simbol draw in a stone that looks like a cross sorround with little dots. This images are from the official Nasa Site http://mars.nasa.gov/multimedia/interactives/billionpixel/
