I like this one too, though not as much as the FU Dog but still has lots of interesting shapes. I think the one in the bottom right looks reptilian or maybe avian. wink Sol 79

i've been to many countries and lived in a lot of places in the US, but i have never seen such strange rocks,
as with all the rovers find.

large formations, ya, due to erosion but these rocks that seem to be all around, i am baffled.

one would think, the physics are the same on mars as earth.

i'm not a big believer in "faces" on the rocks. but a lot of the rocks, sure are odd.

some rocks look positively organic or crafted.

Sol 79 really deserves a closer look, in fact I suggest we do not leave a rock unturned !

I suggest that we post all the anomalies (except the Fu Dog) from Sol 79 here. That way we can highlight all the anomalies in an area and if we are all in agreement perhaps we can continue to do that for other days ? That way we dissect images from each day on one post and get a better feel for that site.

I am seriously starting to wonder if Curiosity is traversing Mars or some ruins in the Gobi Desert. I have found two rocks with what appears to be/is similar to oriental glyphs.
