Interesting as you said the rover tracks did not lead up to this point. to me it's logical to therefore assume that possibly some lifeform excavated this area for whatever reason....

Hi Gm. How about this take you found not being just litter? I attach details I found (though don’t take it for a natural view just a highlight of some features not visible in the original). You see there are structures though very entangled and complicated. The theory of the catastrophe … Don’t know I have seen things that point in the direction of activity still taking place on Mars ….

I wonder if anyone would be interested in this which is a localised disturbance. Possibly a war or a raid? It does not seem to be connected to the rover - in that there are no wheel tracks in this area. I have marked square entrances, a building, and maybe a kind of a ditch where the waste from the city comes out. There appears to be a 'hole' at the end of it.
