I was reading through old posts and came across this thread, I couldnt help to wonder if this "statue" is one of the smudged "towers" from the clementine missions..

A Huge thanks to laserdance for providing the link straight to this beauty at USGS, i zoomed out a bit the image and thats what i could spot.
There is a huge, enormous structure behind the statue. The statue seems to be "crosslegged" and hands clasped, sitting on some kind of "armchair". Its clearly humanoid.

The "four triangles" symbol described in the video (statues head) seems to be a flattened tetrahedron - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tetrahedron , one kind of pyramid.

It seems there is another statute on the left platform, humanoid too, lying on the platform.

And also a third statue next to the main structure.

K i joined nine photos together, dl from USGS mapaplanet service (not edited, only "joined"), showing the statues and all environment around the huge structure, if you want you can download from http://www.mediafire.com/?7kug2csqm7mz6wg (6636 x 4395 .png image, zipped).

There is also a four-sided base structure (maybe - and probably - a pyramid) at the end of the RG bright duct.

I  think the statue is "sitting" on some stucture, there are flying objects all over the place near it.

It appears to be at around:

  8°22'20.78"N  60°42'13.54"W

(Northwest of rainer gamma).

However, I have no idea how he is getting that much detail out of it.

Hi Marsrocks and thanks for bringing this video to our attention. It is certainly most interesting to me as I firmly believe that there are statue-like anomalies on the moon. What I find even more interesting is that the people behind this short film have made a comparison of the statue to a character from childrens TV. In addition to which they show what they believe to be a symbol on its head. Again I feel that there seems to be a number of reoccuring symbols (including letters and numbers) which are more than just random cracks in the rock or the errors in the film. I wonder if its possible to work out its location?

This is a really cool video I just watched on youtube with very few views - and it deserves a lot more attention.

This looks very much like a statue on the moon.

Very neat - check it out:
