Here are some objects and anomalous shapes which I have colorized that you may find of interest.

It's a pity that we are unable to get in closer to the surface as I am sure we would not be disappointed at what there is to see.

Shown below is an original screen capture of the area in question and contains the information relating to the close view seen above.

Note that I have zoomed in by 200% and added a border and then resized the image to 1000 pixels wide.

The areas of interest that caught my initial attention are shown in the blue rectangles.

TW, do you have a lat/long for the image last posted

I'll leave you to judge what can be observed in this close aerial view which is an enlargement then crop from the image seen above.

This image appears to confirm that the moon is a very mysterious place with some very unusual object detail on the surface that would seem to be beyond belief.

It's just as though some pictures have been deliberately constructed in the landscape. Could these formations be a pictorial message??

The location for the above images and the view shown below is Aristarchus crater. This is the crater where astronauts spotted a large shape with a blue 'fluorescent' glow.

The difference with this image is that I have applied a degree of enhancement to improve the edge definition and also to see through the 'smudge'.

The view is showing up some very interesting object detail and some unusual anthropomorphic shapes in the lower left-hand corner.

If there is no one on the moon we should not be seeing what can be observed in this view, so could this be a trick of nature?

Here's something to figure out - the arrangements and formations of the object detail is making me think the moon is one big art gallery.

There are many anthropological shapes to be observed, as can be seen in the image below, only they are not what they appear to be.

Has anyone else noticed this artistic phenomenon in any of the lunar images?

I would ask members and visitors to examine the image below very carefully with an optical magnifier.

Note the different groups of shapes and the relative size of some of the smaller objects.

It is advised not to use digital zoom as there is plenty of recognizable object detail to be observed when using a good magnifier.

This image is the adjusted original as seen above that I have colourized slightly and softened a touch.

BTW, the object I said looked like a tower may not be a tall structure, but may be something that is on or near to the surface.

IF you spot a head shape or what looks like a face with dark eye sockets, is it possible that they could be large window areas?

I may be wrong on this but somehow I do not think so as these dark areas seem to keep cropping up in pairs.

Your comments are always welcome.

I have had another look at this image and there is no pixelization. The image was saved as a png.

What we are seeing are structural formations of various shapes and sizes.

Here is another image showing some of the shapes and objects that I find of interest.

Note the structure in the red ellipse and also what is contained in the green ellipse.

At the top of the view to the left is what looks like a tower of some description.

masjosh, The reason for the pixelization is because the original Quickmap image is of such poor quality. Try reducing the size of the close up image and compare the objects seen in each ellipse with the main image above that. This is one of the problems with some of the LROC views. You will probably have noticed that there is some vertical striping on the main image. This striping effect is not apparent in every Quickview image but is there on many of them when zooming in for a much closer view.

Extremely pixelated, kind of hard to make anything out..

In this enlargement I have placed an ellipse around some of the more prominent objects or groups of objects.

Note the large cluster of objects in the centre of the view.

Does this group of objects appear to you as being something constructed?

Take a close look at the Quickmap LROC oblique image shown below.

I have had to sharpen the image and adjust the brightness and contrast levels to 'bring out' the surface detail.

If you closely examine the view with an optical magnifier you will understand a possible reason why man has not returned to the lunar surface.

My own view is that the moon could be inhabited by an intelligent human-like species who, over a prolonged length of time, have adapted to the lunar conditions.

Some of the objects give the appearance of being intelligently constructed as they do not look like natural formations.

The location can be found at the following coordinates.

Lat:     24.0090

Long: -47.7819
