Very well. I figured it was just an illusion. But my issue with these two images is this: What's with the hill in the background? It isn't focus, is it?

Ok my bad, I just got a message from Obrien where he points out that these two pictures were taken at the same time by the left and right nav cams.  This puts a damper on the whole ducking behind a rock guy.  I should have been looking at that, and I will from now on.  I think it's constructive to have all the input I can get, that's how we learn from each other right?

Nice work on those hills Goggog,  there is definitely something hiding behind all that smudge.

No those aren't clouds, they are smeared out hills.  It's what got me looking at these sols in the first place.  If you look at both pictures you can see that rover only moves slightly to the right for the second picture, in that pic you see less of the rock not more.  I don't think it moves up or down any kind of slope making it possible to see more or less of the rock behind.  I could be wrong though,  anytime I see anything moving on Mars I think it's neat.  I posted this just because I was excited to find a way to show what I'm talking about when I say to toggle back and forth between photos.  Anytime two pics are taken one right after the other it's fun to see if anything moves.  I have other examples of this I will try to post soon. Here is the link, http://marsrovers.jpl.nasa.gov/gallery/all/spirit_n1041.html these are the last two in the full frame set.  There is a lot of heavy tampering in all of these pictures.

Right in front of the rover could be one of those rabbits responsible for all the pellets.biggrin

Ok,  I hope this works.  I've posted these pictures before, Sol 1041 Spirit nav cam I forget which topic it was under, but I never got a chance to animate it.  These are the last two pictures in the raw data at NASA.  I think this guy is related to the last one I posted from the new Opportunity photos.  If this works I'll try the same with that one.
