Hey thanks for that comment Xenon ... much appreciated.   I have been discussing the "Metronome and Tuning Fork" on coursera.org where I have participated in various astronomy related courses.   Some people are getting really upset with me because they are not able to debunk this anomaly (especially since photos exist from 3 distinct angles).  Most of the time they retort with ridicule and I keep having to remind people:

The evidence here is 3 distinct photos from 3 distinct angles showing 2 distinct geometric sections (parallel prongs at the base and an irregular prism structure going up) adhering to 2 perpendicular planes.  Prongs at the base that encompass a rectangular space and 2 vent-like structures at the base.  The vents and prongs exist on the same plane.

And then eventually the thread goes quiet because nobody has an answer for it.

Thank you Humanoid for the link to Tim Beeches site (can't understand why I missed that one out).

One link I forgot to mention was that of the marsanomalies.com site, which has excellent images and links, and well worth bookmarking.

Well I thought I would start this thread off with some links I think members will find useful, please feel free to add your own links to this thread

http://www.scirus.com/ This is a link I use more than any other when researching, it has to be the best scientific search engine on the web

mars anomaly research.com A site I am sure members are regular visitors to, This site has to be the first site to visit when looking for image tampering of inteligent life on Earths near neighbours.

MysteriousAustralia This site is run by Greg Foster (who has been a good friend for many years), This site has to be the largest archive of Australian mysteries on the web ,and covers subjects from Lost civilisations of the URU, the mysterious Yowie, cryptozoology, and a whole lot of other subjects....Well worth visiting.

Crystalinks When I first found this site, I had no idea just how huge it was, it covers everything metaphysical, I have not even scratched the surface of the subject it covers, I am sure members will have hour of fun with this site.

Astronomy picture of the day NASA TV This is a handy link I use to watch live streaming of shuttle and ISS missions, this link is well worth adding to your book marks.

Wikipedia Last but not least one of the best encyclopaedias on the web, very useful tool to have at hand.
